The three pillars that Medieval Europe was balanced on - Church, Nobility, and Other - don't really make any sense in terms of East Asian politics. The fact is, East Asian nations of that time period don't lend themselves well to the mechanics of feudalism. But I just don't see it being implemented correctly. It showed the European-Islamic world during a very specific period of time. The original setting of ck2 was good because it represented some coherent picture. Just make another game or something.ДЄnother problem is the sense of coherency in the setting. Gameplay must be so vastly different than ck2 in order to capture the vastly different societies of China and its surroundings.Д«ut realistically I'm assuming you're referring to a DLC. They mind as well sell it as a stand alone game that can be played with ck2. Adding Asia would be such a huge game changer. Now if they were to do that, then I'd be so down to pay another $60 or whatever. It'd be amazing if they do it right, but it's not going to be done right.Д«ut we can dream. Imagine if CK2 DLCs expanded the gameplay to 1950s. It would be comparable to developing a whole new game, like EU4 or HOI. If Ck2 were to do justice to Chinese societies they will have to do just as much research and development as they did for original Ck2. Well maybe you can, but it's very very hard. You can't possibly model two such vastly different scenarios in detail. The scope of a game is very important thing. Do I want to see China added well to ck2? hell yea.
